學性質 本品是一種無色高粘稠液體。溶于水，乙醇，有吸濕性，不溶于苯，丙酮。與pH值低于2.4的硫酸相遇均會產生沉淀。水溶液呈陽電荷，加入甲醛產生凝聚。
用途 用作未施膠的呼吸性紙的濕強劑，抄紙過程中的助留劑和打漿劑可降低紙漿的打漿度。提高紙張脫水能力。使紙干度提高1%～4%。生產能力提高5%～20%。
